Rye NH Landscape Company

Culture. The New Hampshire seacoast has a rich history and a landscape all its own. There is one company here that understands this, and it shows in their designs, reputation, and respect for the environment. Bennett Holmes from Rye Beach Landscaping installs natural stone and native plant material that blends with many of the the historic homes from Hampton Beach to Portsmouth NH. His own private collection of antique, hand-hewn granite are signature pieces in the stone walls that his company builds for their seacoast landscape clients.

Community. Bennett's commitment to the community can be seen in Portsmouth and Rye New Hampshire. They cut trails through the Rye conservation land for residents and tourists to enjoy the natural habitat.

Rye Beach Landscaping company was also very much involved in the Strawberry Banke historic renewal project that preserved a historic neighborhood in Portsmouth NH and protected it from over-development. They donated much time and sweat equity, planting landscapes and installing traditional stone walkways throughout this Portsmouth Park. Strawberry Banke has become a popular tourist spot and is known throughout the world.

Concern. Out of a personal conviction, Bennett Holmes made the decision six years ago to power all of his equipment with 100% bio diesel, a vegetable oil product that he acquires from the Petey's restaurant in Rye Beach. From April to October, Rye Beach Landscaping is "off the pump." This allows Bennett to be competitive in this pricing, even as fuel prices spike. Bio-diesel burns cleaner, leaves no carbon footprint, and it smells nice too! Rye Beach Landscaping also creates nutrient rich compost with all of their green waste, which they use in all of their plantings and lawn installations. Even their office is "green," having converted most of their client's billing to e-mail, reducing the demand for paper products. All of their stationary is made from 100% recycled material and printed with biodegradable ink.

Rye Beach landscaping is a full service landscape construction company. They are even licensed to install New Hampshire septic systems! From start to finish, construction services are performed by their talented and experienced crew, insuring that your landscape project is as good as it can be!
